About Lloyd Hosting
Want to know more about us, how we started and what's happened since then?
How We Started:
A British friend was moaning about his abysmal US host, so I offered to host it on my UK server. He accepted, I moved the site across and he was super happy with it. I found a few other friends that wanted a website hosting and it pretty much went from there. I started getting the idea of starting a webhosting company, and so started to look into what I would need.
What happened after that:
We've got a lot more serious about Lloyd Hosting. Back when it started, it was a favour for a few friends. Now we have a proper website, billing system, automated systems, and so on. We also have more customers. The main rule I set when Lloyd Hosting started still exists: Try to be the friendliest, most helpful webhost possible, with the best customer support we can offer. This means NO canned responses - every Support Ticket reply will be a typed response from one of our staff.
What's happened since then:
We have a new main domain (lloyd.hosting). While we've grown, we've kept to our rules and promises. We've also gone cloud! We became a full cloud hosting company. We now have faster, more reliable nodes than before. We abolished bandwidth limits, raised our mySQL limits and raised our SLA from 99.9% to 99.95%.
What's planned for the future:
The same plan we have now. Make sure we have super reliable, super fast and responsive servers while making sure all our customers feel welcomed, respected and helped in any way possible. All while being great value for money. Oh, and VPSs...
